Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The NBA athlete just signed a very lucrative deal that will keep him with the Milwaukee Bucks for the next five years.

On Twitter, he wrote, “This is my home, this is my city… I’m blessed to be able to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let’s make these years count. The show goes on, let’s get it.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo began his career with the Bucks in 2013 after entering the NBA draft. He quickly became a force to be reckoned with on the team. As an NBA all-star, he signed an extension in 2016 for another four years with the team. That deal netted the athlete $100 million at the time.
During his time in the NBA, Antetokounmpo has been named the NBA Most Valuable Player twice. In 2020, he’s also won the title of NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Most teams would love to have an athlete of Antetokounmpo’s caliber. But for now, he’s staying put.
