Hulk Hogan reunited with “Nature Boy” Ric Flair in Clearwater, FL. Somebody cue the walkout music.
What Hulk Hogan Had to Say
On Saturday (January 16), the WWE star shared a photo of the pair at his restaurant. He owns Hogan‘s Beach Shop in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
“Rolex wearin, diamond ring wearin, kiss stealin, whoo, wheelin dealin, limousine ridin, jet flyin, son of a gun and I’m havin a hard time holdin these alligators down,” Hogan wrote. “#goat #RicFlair #hulkhogan #hogansbeachshop #clearwaterbeach“
Meanwhile, Flair also shared the same image on his social media accounts. “We Have Made History,” he captioned the post. “But More Importantly, He Has Always Been There For Me Through Hard Times! Thank You @HulkHogan,” he concluded with the praying hand emoji.
During the majority of their WCW and WWE days, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan did not like each other. Flair disliked Hogan for his political backstage banter. Flair also continuously remarked that Steve Austin was a bigger star than him. They settled their differences when Flair joined Hogan’s Australian wrestling tour.
Nowadays, Hogan holds Flair in high regard.
“The guy who is my hero, and who I think is the greatest wrestler of all time, that’s Ric Flair,” Hogan told Sport Skeeda.
When fans say that Hogan is the greatest wrestler, he has to disagree.
“So I do appreciate the comment but I have a different opinion about who is the best wrestler and the greatest of all time, I have to go with Flair. It’s in his blood… he laid the groundwork. He raised the bar that no one has really been able to follow as far as work ethic.”
Meanwhile, Flair returned the compliments. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Flair revealed that Hogan has been there for him in his time of need. Flair was hospitalized in 2018 and Hogan flew out to visit him.
