Tonight is the big fight against YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul and the former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.

The two are going head-to-head at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio tonight, August 29. For most people, however, you’re going to need to watch from home instead. Here’s everything you’ll need to know about watching the Paul vs. Woodley fight.

How to Watch the Fight

The fight will start at 8 p.m. ET. It is available to watch on Showtime via pay-per-view.

This means if you have traditional cable or satellite providers, you’ll find the fight under the Showtime PPV channel. Meanwhile, those who don’t have cable should go ahead and download the Showtime app or watch on Showtime.com.

The cost of the fight is $59.99.

If you’re planning on watching the fight in a big group, this price can be divided amongst friends. Otherwise, it’ll just need to be a TV splurge night.

Also, Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley aren’t the only competitors you’ll get to watch. Amanda Serrano and Yamileth Mercado will also be in the ring for unified women’s featherweight titles. Daniel Dubois will take on Joe Cusumano for the heavyweight category.

Ivan Baranchyk will fight Montana Love in the welterweight category. Lastly, Tommy Fury and Anthony Taylor are in the cruiserweight category for the night.

Expectations for Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley Fight

Eyes are mostly on the Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley fight, which has garnered a lot of social media attention over the past few months. Paul is looking to heighten his career as a professional boxer as he enters the ring trying to get a 4-0 record.

This is easily the newfound boxer’s biggest competition so far. He has previously taken on a former social media influencer, a former NBA star, and a former UFC fighter. He was in the headlines in April when he knocked out Ben Askren in the first round. However, Woodley has four championship titles under his belt and is known for his powerful striking capability. This will not be an easy win for either fighter.

“When I started boxing, I didn’t think I’d be here this fast. My original goal was to fight Conor McGregor or Floyd Mayweather, because I knew I would have a big enough pay-per-view draw to do those things. Now I want to become world champion. I want to fight and beat Canelo Alvarez. This has been a fast, quick roller coaster ride, but I didn’t expect to be here. I just knew I loved fighting and I knew I was good at it,” Paul said at the final press conference, according to CBS Sports.

Several people have already put in their predictions for the big fight. According to TMZ, infamous boxer, Mike Tyson is betting on Jake Paul. Meanwhile, other analysts are also choosing Paul for very specific reasons. Mostly, the fact that Paul is 15 years younger and also has a four-inch height and natural weight advantage.

Jake Paul is looking for a fourth win, but he’s also looking to gain the community’s respect. “I would love the boxing community to fully embrace me. I think a lot of people have already but now it’s basically the boxing purists who really don’t understand exactly what I’m doing. … would love that respect,” he said to “Morning Combat.”
