Are you ready to get “Uncut” with Jay Cutler? The former NFL quarterback is going from a football stadium to the studio booth in Nashville.

Cutler stepped away from the League in 2017 after more than a decade playing for the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, and Miami Dolphins. Since then, Cutler has been figuring out his post-NFL trajectory and also shredding some pretty gnarly ski slopes. But with his new podcast, Culter is branching out beyond the sports world.

Cutler may have made a name for himself with his throwing arm and capability to read the field. But don’t expect his new podcast to stick within the sports sphere. In an Instagram post, Cutler said he wants to interview and talk with people from “all walks of life.”

He wrote, “New podcast starting up. Check it out wherever you listen and watch your podcast. I’m going to be talking to a lot of different people from all walks of life. Let me know your thoughts or who I should have on the show.”

The podcast arose from Cutler’s partnership with Buchwald. The former quarterback announced he signed with the company, which expanded its interests in sports media. Through this collaboration, Cutler is launching his brand new podcast “Uncut.”

So when does this podcast drop? Well, for all you Jay fans out there, you won’t have to wait for long. The first episode of Jay Cutler’s podcast will drop on August 25. Cutler also partnered with PodcastOne on the series, which he will record from his Nashville studio.

Jay Cutler Debuts in August

Cutler plans to host a series of guests ranging from friends to experts to even pro athletes. He will kick-off the series with former NFL athlete and singer Zach Miller, Dan “Big Cat” Katz of Barstool Sports, and also Kansas City Chiefs’ Kyle long.

“I’m looking forward to talking with different guests from the worlds of sports, food, entertainment, politics and beyond and to have the chance to learn and to share opinions on a variety of issues and topics weekly reaching new audiences and reconnecting with those who have followed and supported me throughout my playing days and to be able to show other aspects of myself and interests in a fun and informative way,” Cutler told The Hollywood Reporter.

Previously, Cutler launched his own meat subscription service CUTS as well. So it sounds like the former quarterback is busier than ever.

PodcastOne’s president Kit Gray discussed partnering with the former athlete on the podcast. According to Gray, Culter will demonstrate a new side to himself.

“I am confident that those skills he developed as a team leader are going to be integral as he becomes a great podcast host,” she said. “His fan base spans the worlds of sports, pop culture and beyond, and I cannot wait for audiences to get to know yet another side of him as he really gets to display the immense wit and charm I’ve seen from him personally.”
