On Sunday, Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt shared an amusing tweet where he referenced a quote from NBC’s comedy series The Office.

Watt and the Texans beat the New England Patriots 27-20 on Sunday afternoon. The defensive player dominated during the game with a career-high four pass deflections. Subsequently, Watt took to Twitter to share a laugh after a hard-fought win.

He posted a photo of him walking with a cup of coffee. But, not just any cup. The former Defensive Player of the Year was captured carrying a Dunder Mifflin mug. That’s the name of the fictional paper company that The Office is based on. In addition, Watt added a hilarious quote from The Office’s main character Michael Scott – played by actor Steve Carell.

“Most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman Grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill, I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon,” Watt joked in his tweet.

Watt Shares Another Funny Tweet About His Four Pass Deflections

Additionally, Watt shared another funny tweet a couple hours before. Following his big game against the Patriots, the Pro Bowler posted a hysterical GIF on Twitter that highlighted his four pass deflections on the day.

The short clip is from an old commercial that starred former NBA star Dikembe Mutombo. The 7’2″ center is well-known for his shot blocks throughout his career and his accompanying finger wag taunt.

The GIF starts out normal enough with a young kid getting a box of cereal from a grocery store shelf. But, when the kid tries to throw the box into a shopping cart, Mutombo comes out of nowhere and smacks the box away. The box amusingly bursts open and cereal flies everywhere as Mutombo runs away dressed in a full team jersey. The only thing missing was the finger wag.
