Kobe Bryant’s Former Home On the Market Again Less Than Six Months After Vanessa Bryant Sold It Originally

The late Kobe Bryant’s former home is back on the market for $2.6 million — less than six months after it first sold. The three-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home, located in Irvine, California, was first purchased by the NBA legend and his widow, Vanessa Bryant, in 2013 for $1.3 million.

Nine months after Kobe Bryant’s tragic passing, Vanessa put the house on the market, listing it for $1.995 million in late October 2020. According to the Los Angeles Times, just two days after listing it, an unknown buyer purchased the home for $2 million.

Now, the house has gotten a makeover, and it’s back on the market and ready for new owners. According to the new listing, the updated one-story home has been completely remodeled. Located in the Summit gated community at Turtle Ridge in Orange county, the previous owners put in nearly $200,000 worth of renovations into the 2,400 square feet house.

Now, the home has been given a fresh, modern look with a modern white contemporary feel. The amenities include a manicured backyard, complete with a lush garden, jacuzzi, barbecue, and bar with plenty of entertaining space.

The master suite includes views of the garden, and features a custom his-and-hers vanity, shower, soaking tub, and a walk-in closet. The owners also whitewashed the beautiful hardwood floors and beamed ceilings. In addition, they traded the chandeliers for a more contemporary piece. Clean marble covers the island in the gourmet kitchen.

While Vanessa, now 38-years-old, unloaded this investment home she initially bought with Kobe Bryant. She is still living in the Newport Coast home that’s five-bedroom, six-bathroom with her three children Natalia, Bianka, and Capri. The Newport Coast estate is only a few miles up the road from the Irvine house.

Happy News for Kobe Bryant’s Family

However, this isn’t the only news that’s making headlines for Kobe Bryant’s family. On Tuesday, Vanessa revealed that her eldest daughter, Natalia, got into the University of Southern California. On Instagram, she shared a video of the 18-year-old reacting to the happy news.

Vanessa wrote that Kobe Bryant would have been “so proud” of their daughter’s accomplishments in the accompanying caption. “Tears of joy,” she wrote in the post. “I’m SO happy for you Nani! I know daddy is so PROUD OF YOU. I am so PROUD OF YOU!!”

“Your hard work and dedication was so worth it. You pushed through the most excruciating pain imaginable and you succeeded,” she continued. “I wish Daddy and Gigi were physically here to celebrate but I know they’re here in spirit. We love you so much!”
