LeBron James will be watching Thursday Night Football. Will you?

It’s the Seattle Seahawks playing host to the Arizona Cardinals with two terrific quarterbacks in Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray.

James, the star or the NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers, proclaimed on Twitter: “Can’t wait for this Seahawks vs Cards heavyweight bout too!! Man it’s going to be a great evening at the #JamesGang crib.”

James knows his football. The Cardinals and Seahawks each are 6-3 coming into their prime time game on Fox. Check the schedule. There are only four other matchups this weekend in which both teams boast winning records.

The Reason Why Lebron James is Hyped

Wilson and Murray are both in the hunt for NFL MVP in case Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes falters down the stretch.

Wilson is impressing each week with his arm. With 2,789 passing yards, Wilson is just behind Josh Allen for best in the NFL. The 28 touchdowns top the league. But Wilson and the Seahawks have struggled the past month, losing three of their last four games. Plus, Wilson has had 10 turnovers.

Murray is dazzling in only his second season in the league. The former No. 1 NFL pick has thrown for 2,375 yards and 17 touchdowns. He’s rushed for 604 yards and 10 touchdowns. And, this means he’s on pace to become the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for 4,000 and run for at least 1,000.

And, Murray has the penchant for the big play.

He rocked Sunday with his 43-yard Hail Mary on the game’s next-to-last snap to beat Buffalo. You’ve probably seen the play — Murray lofted the prayer-of-a-pass to DeAndre Hopkins, who caught the ball between three defenders.

And speaking of receivers, the wideouts in this game are amazing.

Hopkins, the former Houston Texan, is enjoying a fantastic debut season with Arizona. His 67 catches are second-best in the NFL.

Metcalf is averaging 18.1 yards per catch, which is tied for the league lead. His eight scores are second best.

So yes, LeBron James, the basketball superstar, knows a good football game when he sees one.
