Logan Paul Photos Trends After Conor McGregor Knockout at UFC 257

by Josh Lanier

YouTube’s clown princes Logan and younger brother Jake Paul trended on Twitter following UFC 257 as fans speculated over their fighting futures.

Logan Paul also posted his live reaction to McGregor’s loss which started an avalanche of people showing a bloodied, disoriented McGregor in the ring and pointing toward that being the 25-year-old’s fate.

The brothers have attempted to join the ranks of professional fighters for more than a year. And comments made by Conor McGregor seem to show he supports their efforts.

Though, that’s still the minority opinion. Jake Paul has been calling out McGregor for months, hoping to annoy him enough to get into the octagon. Logan Paul has had a little more success in securing big fights. He’ll take on Floyd Mayweather in a pay-per-view exhibition match on Feb. 20.

Ahead of his knock-out loss to Dustin Poirer Saturday night, McGregor said in an interview that he supports the brothers’ efforts and took a jab at Mayweather. Mayweather beat McGregor handily to become the only fighter in history with a 50-0 boxing record. That didn’t stop Notorious from calling out Money Mayweather for looking “fat.” Logan Paul cut out that portion of the interview and added some Photoshopped pics of a fat Mayweather. He uploaded that video and his uncontrollable laughter to it to Instagram.

Dana White Warns of a One-Sided ‘Whooping’

UFC chief Dana White has been clear on his stance on the Paul Brothers as fighters. They’re not. So, when he heard Logan Paul would fight Mayweather his assessment of the “fight” was along that same vein.

“It’s gonna be bad,” White explained to TMZ Sports. “… I’m open for — and I don’t dislike any one of these kids … but if Floyd Mayweather really shows up and goes in and fights this kid, it’s gonna be an ass-whooping like nobody has ever seen before.”

Mayweather is 50-0. Logan Paul is 0-1 in his only professional fight against fellow YouTuber KSI.

The only positive Logan may have, White speculated, would be age and weight. Paul is 25, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. Mayweather is 5-foot-8 and last fought at 150 pounds. But the UFC chief said once you factor in Mayweather’s speed, boxing IQ, and experience, it’s basically the equivalent of a grown man fighting a sick duck.

“Logan’s gonna find out what speed is. Speed is power! When you get hit with sh*t that you don’t see coming and when a guy like Floyd Mayweather starts putting it on you — it’s not even gonna be a fight. It’s gonna be ridiculous! It’s gonna be the worst ass-whooping you’ve ever seen.”
