Michael Strahan was having some serious social media fun with the gap between his front teeth.
You can call it Strahan’s signature. It tweaks his look from classically handsome to a more approachable good-looking.
Strahan posted about his teeth on Instagram, Tuesday, telling his 1.3 million followers:
“I rock my gap with pride! It’s who I am! Which of my friends do you think can rock it with me??? 😂😂 swipe right #ItDoesntFitEveryone.”
Did you swipe it right to check out all the Michael Strahan friends? Did they rock the gap?
First up in the gap gallery was Deion Sanders, who is back on the football fields. Prime Time is the head football coach at Jackson State.
Next up is Jay Glazer, who works at Fox Sports with Strahan. Glazer started off as a sportswriter, then was elevated to an on-camera job as an NFL insider.
And swiping right, it’s Tom Brady. The seven-time Super Bowl winner is standing on a podium in a cloud of confetti. Yes, he’s got a gap.
Sara Haines used to be Strahan’s co-host on Strahan, Sara and Keke. She’s now on back at The View. Can she pull off the gap?
Swipe right and you get The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson. Flip it again and its skier Lindsey Vonn. Next up is actress Keke Palmer, then rapper/actor L.L. Cool J. More flipping gets you Justin Timberlake and finally, Strahan’s two Good Morning America co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.
And Then There Were So Many Comments to Michael Strahan And His Gap Gallery
The former New York Giants great also took a playful swipe, sans photo, at actor Anthony Anderson. He tagged him and wrote “you are missing out my brotha.”
Could they all rock the gap like Michael Strahan?
Let’s check the comments.
Tom Brady weighed in. “I think we are on to something here.”
Troy Aikman, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback who now is a top game analyst for Fox Sports, wrote “definitely not Jay Glazer.”
Vonn responded, “Well, until I had braces, I had one … you should try them.” That would be braces. Strahan responded “Damn, that hurts.” Then Vonn said she was kidding. All good.
Then Jay Glazer weighed in. “You’re a moron, but you’re my moron, damnit. “
If you’re Michael Strahan, a bit of imperfection is beautiful.
