MLB’s Boston Red Sox fans are furious after two clueless men break into Fenway Park. The dumbest part, they caught it all on camera.

Common sense just isn’t that common nowadays.

After a video made its way to the social media platform TikTok, Boston police are opening an investigation as to a break-in at Fenway Park.

Video at Fenway Park

The video shows two men frolicking around the snow-covered field in the late hours of the night. In addition, it highlights the men laughing as they pass through the stands and through a waist-high door to enter the field. They took a grand tour of the park and its amenities and even went through the Red Sox dugout.

It is still unknown how the two were able to get into the park.

One of the men in the video also reveals that he is under the influence as he narrates their joy walk.

“We’re on the baseball field at Fenway Park. I don’t see anyone. I mean, I’m kind of, like … I’m kind of messed up, so I can’t really tell.”

The other man echoes the first, saying, “We’re in Fenway Park. This is like worldwide known for baseball.

Yeah, you could say that again.

The intruders even have themselves a pretend game, with one at the pitcher’s mound, while the other stands at the plate.

The video was only posted a few days ago but has already been deleted by the user as of Monday night. However, once the video hit the internet, it’s out there forever. The clip has been shared across several social media platforms.

The Hunt For the Intruders

According to Zineb Curran, the spokesperson for the Boston Red Sox, the men broke in around 1 a.m. on February 7.

Security at Fenway Park eventually spotted the men, but they ran away. The intruders still have not been identified at this time.

“We are actively working with the Boston Police Department to identify the suspects,” Curran said in a statement. “The Red Sox take matters of security very seriously and are constantly working to improve Fenway Park’s comprehensive security systems to prevent future incidents of this nature.”

In addition, Fenway Park has recently been the site for massive amounts of people to get their COVID vaccination.

Anyone with information on the break-in is strongly encouraged to call the BPD CrimeStoppers tip line at 1-800-494-TIPS. You may also do so by texting the word “TIP” to 27463.
