Bubba Wallace is out there living his best life. When he retires from professional driving, Wallace might want to consider a career in photography. The NASCAR driver shared some gorgeous photos of Big Bend National Park that would make even professional photographers blush.

The driver captured the rocky canopies and mountains of Big Bend, which is located in Texas. Apparently, there was quite a hike up to get the photographs. Wallace said he was tired after his adventure at the park. Emory Peak, the tallest point in the park, has an elevation of around 2,500 feet.

He wrote, “Big Bend National Park was sick. But man it kicked our butts!!”

Bubba Wallace Has Been Enjoying Nature

The NASCAR driver is spending his off-season enjoying nature before he spearheads Michael Jordan’s new team next year. Wallace has shared some of his travels with his girlfriend and their dog Asher via social media. The trio is taking a road trip to embrace the great outdoors.

Wallace opened up about his love for photography with NASCAR.com. Sometimes, he said he’ll break out his camera in between changes to practice his photography skills.

“I would sit there right by the wall – I’d have to see if I have a picture of that test,” Wallace told the outlet. “I don’t know if I do still – but you’re inches away. Before that, I was like, man, it would be kind of fun – you see the professional photographers at the track taking photos. I’m like, that would be cool to do.”

“Instead of taking somebody else’s picture, I was like, I want that to be my picture, you know?” he continued.

Wallace will drive for Jordan’s 23XI team in February 2021 for the Daytona 500.
