Popular NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace has long been a fan of mustaches, and evidently, now he has his own to show off.

Not everyone can pull off the patented mustache look. Perhaps that is why they are so few and far between. But whenever Bubba Wallace spotted another one of his fellow drivers sporting the look, he always made sure to give them a shout-out.

Back in January, the 23XI Racing driver could barely handle seeing Chase Elliott’s new handlebar mustache. In response to Elliott debuting his new look, Wallace only had three words come to his mind.

“That. Freakin. Stache. @chaseelliott” Wallace posted to Twitter at the time.

In the past, Wallace has always rocked a beard and kept it in tip-top shape. But fresh off of his best race of the season, and heading into Memorial Day weekend, Bubba Wallace is going for a new look. He pulled up to Charlotte Speedway ahead of the Coca-Cola 600 saying it’s “Go time.”

“Go time. #CocaCola600,” Wallace wrote alongside his most recent photo.

NASCAR Fans React to Bubba Wallace’s New Mustache

NASCAR fans were loving Bubba Wallace’s newest facial hairstyle on social media. However, Wallace isn’t just following in the footsteps of Chase Elliott to sport the mustache. You may remember one NASCAR icon who made the mustache famous — Dale Earnhardt. One fan on Twitter definitely remembers. He replied to Wallace comparing the two professional drivers.

“Got his Earnhardt ‘stache ready!!” one fan wrote. Others responded with similar responses such as, “That is a glorious mustache,” and “That, my good Sir, is a damn proper ‘stache.”

Another fan chimed in saying that Wallace’s mustache might even be better than that of Team Penske driver, Ryan Blaney.

“Your mustache game is strong,” he replied. “Quite possible surpasses @Blaney”

Bubba Wallace Honors Fallen Military Members with New Paint Scheme

The Coca-Cola 600 took place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. It comes just on the heels of Memorial Day. And for Bubba Wallace and other members of the NASCAR organization, it is a time to show gratitude for those who would lay down it all to protect the citizens of the United States.

As he usually does when debuting a new paint scheme, the driver of the No. 23 Toyota Camry took to social media to show it off. His latest look will feature an all-black paint job with white accents. In addition, he will be honoring Staff Sergeant Paul Velazquez on his car. Sergeant Velazques is one of the brave men who “gave it all” to protect our country.
