NASCAR: Jimmie Johnson Shares Adorable Notes Daughters Left in Car As He Enters Final Race

NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson shared a photo on Twitter of a heartfelt note his daughters left in his car for his final race

Yesterday morning, Jimmie Johnson posted to Twitter a photo from last weekend’s race, the Xfinity 500, two notes his daughters left him for good luck. Although the messages pulled at our heartstrings, the drivers placed 30th at the Martinsville Speedway on Sunday.

One of the letters reads, “Dear Daddy, I love you. Go get your trophy. Love, Lydia”. The other note is equally as sweet with it saying, “Dear Daddy, I love you. You always win in my eyes. Love, Evie.” Both notes were decorated with hearts… and our tears by how wholesome they are.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the tweet already received over 190 retweets, 40 quotes tweets, as well as 5.5 thousand likes.

Johnson’s last race will be this Sunday at the Phoenix Raceway, and NBC will broadcast the event. Fans can see him in his Chevrolet #48 cars at the 26 starting positions.

Racing Legend Jimmie Johnson Retires After Successful NASCAR Career

Johnson won his first Cup Series championship in 2006 and went on to win again in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. In addition, he is the only driver in NASCAR history to win five consecutive championships. We went on to win again in 2013 and 2016. Johnson is tied for the most cup series cup championships of time with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.

Johnson also has two Daytona 500 wins under his belt… or hood, which has led to him earning the title as one of the greatest NASCAR drivers of all time.

Yesterday, Johnson also tweeted a 16-second video of the series trophy and his car, decorated with the colors purple, pink, and bright yellow for his number on the side. The hype video is also set to the music of Eminem hit-song “Lose Yourself.” Johnson captioned the video “#OneFinalTime.”
