The longtime girlfriend of Denny Hamlin did not hold back on social media as she revealed some shocking news to the NASCAR world.
It has certainly been an up-and-down year for Denny Hamlin. The driver of the No. 11 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing did not win a race all season long. That is just the third time he’s gone winless during a NASCAR Cup Series season in his 16-year career. Despite all of that, however, Hamlin still performed well enough this year to get himself into the Cup Series playoffs on points.
It’s on the eve of those playoffs, though, that the three-time Daytona 500 winner got some shocking news on Twitter. His longtime girlfriend and the mother of his two daughters posted some extremely concerning tweets accusing him of bad behavior. Not only that, but she also seemed to announce the end of their relationship.
“I have been quiet for too long for far too long,” Jordan Fish wrote. “And I have endured things no one person should EVER have to endure and today was no exception. @dennyhamlin I hope everyone will finally see you for the person you truly are.”
Since writing her thoughts on Twitter, her tweets have been deleted as has her entire account. She also has gone completely private on Instagram as well. In the second tweet, Fish writes, “Myself and our children deserve better than what you have given. I cannot believe I ever thought that someone like you could change. Because you cannot. You have a long road ahead of you, and one I graciously no longer will be a part of. Have a great life @dennyhamlin.”
NASCAR Star Has Yet to Acknowledge the Viral Tweets from Jordan Fish
Denny Hamlin has spent the week alongside his fellow NASCAR stars in the Cup Series Playoffs visiting with the media. He has maintained his good spirits, as usual, talking about the postseason and what he hopes to accomplish. However, you can imagine his calmness has no doubt been tested after seeing the tweets from his longtime girlfriend.
But Hamlin has not yet acknowledged the viral tweets from Jordan Fish. And he has not yet spoken on the status of the couple’s relationship. But you can bet he’ll be asked about it during his next media appearance.
NASCAR fans, meanwhile, have understandably been in disbelief over the contents of Fish’s tweets. Some people suggested that her account was hacked, while others asked why she would air the couple’s dirty laundry online for the world to see. And there were many people who came to her defense, saying she was in the right to stand up for her and their daughters.
“She has been dealing with this for years and trying to handle it privately,” one fan replied. “Kinda hard to keep something private when the entire garage knows. All she did was state facts, not bs. Good for her — warning to all out there to beware. She has my support.”
