NFC Championship: Green Bay Locker Room Video Shows Aaron Rodgers Full Setup

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has all his gear in place in preparation for Championship Sunday.

Green Bay Releases Video of Aaron Rodgers’ Locker

The Green Bay Packers on Sunday released a video of their quarterback’s space in the locker room. There are neatly folded linens and hats and shirts hung up in a row, and in the center of it all, No. 12’s jersey.

In Sunday’s game, Brady will square off against Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, both future Hall of Famers.

Rodgers has hinted that he’s in a better place emotionally these days than he has been in the past.

“I really feel like we have the ability to manifest things we desire in our own lives, through our spoken word and our intentions,” Rodgers said after Green Bay beat Los Angeles. “That’s the direction I have really tried to stay on this year, of really being wary about my moods and what I was thinking about and my perspective, try to be as positive as possible and continue to try to live with an attitude of gratitude.”

Rodgers Takes a Leadership Role

And Rodgers is comfortable in his place with the Packers. That’s despite the Packers passing up a chance to give him a wide receiver and drafting Jordan Love instead. The team has given Rodgers a leadership role that he’s never had before.

“I mean, I am getting called on to give speeches after games now,” he said recently on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “You know me—that just hasn’t been my personality over the years. It’s been fun to have those opportunities.”

“I don’t know if the guys fully understand what I’m saying,” he added. “I mean, I’m not talking about chakras and all that stuff. But I do talk about how important it is to have the right mindset and visualize things and manifest things that you want. Some guys might be saying, ‘What is this old guy talking about?’”

As for what happens next, Rodgers said he’s trying to focus on the present.

“My future is a beautiful mystery I think,” he said at a recent press conference. “The present is such a gift to be able to stay in the moment and to have gratitude for being in this situation again, and being with the guys and having fans in our stadium and maybe snow in an NFC Championship Game.”

Rodgers will be in his element Sunday. But Brady does not appear to be losing any sleep over the game.

“We’ve been pretty good on the road all year outside of the first game and the Chicago game,” Brady said Wednesday. “For one reason or another, we’ve just done a good job. Some years it’s been like that.”

Heading into Sunday’s game, one thing’s for sure… Green Bay boasts some pretty nice locker rooms, and they’re ready to compete.
