The National Football League’s 2021 season doesn’t start up until several weeks but Dallas Cowboys Ezekiel Elliot looks to be in midseason form.
With NFL teams set to report to training camp in a few weeks, Ezekiel Elliott is sharing a few photos with fans. The photos show the running back working hard to improve his game during the offseason. Several pics show Elliott’s training methods and his exercise selections for the offseason program.
It’s clear that the Dallas Cowboys star has been putting in tons of work as he looks terrific. He shows off his sculpted physique in several of the photos as proof that he doesn’t take his training regimen lightly. He hopes to have a great 2021 season for himself and his Cowboys team this year.
Ezekiel Elliott shared the photos earlier this week on his social media page. The post has certainly got Dallas Cowboys fans excited for the quickly approaching new season.
“Lil off-season photo dump,” Ezekiel Elliott writes in the post’s caption space.
The Dallas Cowboys star running back includes nine photos in the Instagram post and most show him working out. Others show Ezekiel Elliott’s insanely muscular build to the delight of Cowboys fans. One of the photos appears to show him working out with Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. The pair will determine just how successful their team is this year as they are arguably the top two players on the team.
Dallas Cowboys Running Back Hope for Big Season
The excitement from Cowboys fans is evident in that the post took in nearly 200,000 “likes” in a short amount of time. Several fans take to the comments section to wish Ezekiel Elliott a healthy and productive 2021 season.
“Zeke is about to make a statement this year,” a Cowboys fan writes. “It’s personal. 2000 yards and 0 fumbles this year.”
The Dallas Cowboys drafted Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft. He played college ball at Ohio State University, where he was one of the top players in the country.
Elliott will need a bounce-back year in 2021 for the Cowboys to have success. The 2020 season did not go as planned for Dallas and their star running back. He rushed for a career-low 979 yards last season, mustering only six touchdowns over the course of the season. Most concerning for Cowboys fans is that Elliott fumbled the ball six times — an alarming number for an NFL running back. It’s a contract year for the running back and if he has plans to cash in he will have to do better in the upcoming new season.
The Dallas Cowboys will also be looking for a bounce-back season as the team struggled mightily through 2020. Dallas finished third in the NFC East with a 6-10 record, failing to make the playoffs once again.
