Former NFL defensive end Michael Strahan gave his social media followers an inspirational message on this Monday morning.

Strahan, a current analyst for Fox Sports, left his 1.3 million Twitter followers with a message his dad used to always say to him.

“My dad always said to me, ‘Not If but When,'” Strahan writes on Twitter. “Because when you question if something will happen, you are already doubting it. WHEN has the certainty that it WILL happen. Think about it. @MbyMStrahan#MondayMotivation#RaiseYourGame

Michael Strahan Turned 49 on Saturday

The former New York Giants star recently gave his fans a preview of how he spent his birthday. The former NFL star and TV host turned 49 on Saturday.

Strahan shared an image on Instagram on Sunday while holding up a huge heart-shaped pepperoni pizza. He used the caption to thank his fans and followers for sending him love on his birthday.

Strahan shared the photo with his followers saying: “Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday! A low key birthday celebration with my favorite foods! Pizza, wings, and Momma stray’s yellow chocolate cake!! Watched a movie at home and was in bed before 10 LOL!”

In addition to his fans, a number of Strahan’s celebrity friends wished the NFL legend a happy birthday in the comment section. “Happy happy birthday!!!!!!” actor Terry Crews writes. TV host Maria Menounos commented: “Happy birthday!!!!!!!!! Sending you so much bday love!”

Sued By His Marijuana Business Partner

Strahan also has a side hustle: a marijuana business with rapper Wiz Khalifa. The two partnered up to form Khalifa Kush. Strahan works on this business in addition to hosting a number of TV programs.

Strahan and Khalifa are now facing a lawsuit from one of their business partners in the cannabis company. At this point, Strahan is yet to speak out about the lawsuit. Learn more about the sticky situation here.
