NFL legend Shannon Sharpe roasts the Dallas Cowboys after their Thanksgiving Day loss to the Washington Football Team. Sharpe shared a photoshopped image of himself smoking a cigar and holding a bottle of champagne.

He also said, “Y’all Still Dem Boyz?” This is a reference to a Wiz Khalifa song “We Dem Boyz” that released in 2014. The Cowboys and the fans embraced the song as an unofficial anthem for the team. As an NFL tight end, Sharpe played for both the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos.

The Thanksgiving Day game has been a tradition for the team nearly every year since 1966. But rarely has it ended in such a blowout. Washington defeated the Cowboys with a show of force, winning the game 41 to 16. The loss burns a little worse since it came at the hands of the team’s division rival.

Washington has been one of the most frequent rivals for the Cowboys annual Thanksgiving game. But the team has beaten the Cowboys for just the second time in their past 10 match-ups on Thanksgiving. Currently, the Cowboys are three for eight games this season.

Dallas Cowboys Remember Late Coach Markus Paul

The NFL team has had misfortune recently this season. The Cowboys went on a losing streak after losing quarterback Dak Prescott. The quarterback broke his ankle and is out for the season. More recently, the team’s coach Markus Paul passed away suddenly a day before the Thanksgiving game.

Paul collapsed while at the team facilities after experiencing a medical emergency. He was rushed to the hospital but died the day afterward. Officials haven’t revealed his cause of death yet.

The Cowboys honored Paul before the game with a moment of silence as a tribute. They also wore decals on their helmets to remember the late coach.
