NFL: Tom Brady Hilariously Roasts Peyton Manning in Halloween Post

On Saturday evening, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady shared a throwback photo to last year’s Halloween when he made fun of fellow quarterback Peyton Manning.

Manning, who played for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, retired in 2016 at the age of 39. However, Brady, who played for the New England Patriots for 20 years before this season, is still going strong in the NFL at the age of 43.

The two Super Bowl champion quarterbacks have always had a friendly rivalry off the field. Last year, Brady had a good laugh at Manning’s expense with some Halloween decorations in his front yard. Additionally, during this year’s Halloween celebrations, he re-shared the post as a reminder to Manning.

In 2019, Brady posted a photo of himself wearing a Star Wars stormtrooper costume standing beside a hilarious Halloween-inspired version of Manning. In the photo, Brady is standing by a ghoulish zombie wearing a #18 Colts jersey and holding a football. Along with zombie Manning, Brady captioned the post “Getting old Peyton!!”

This year, Brady added some extra captions to the post when he shared it again on his Instagram story. He wrote, “Halloween 2019” and “NEED MORE PLIABILITY PEYTON.” Manning was never known for his speed or agility, but in his defense, neither is Brady.

Brady Doesn’t Mind Making Fun of Himself Either

Brady has a good sense of humor on social media, and doesn’t mind being the butt of his own jokes at times. He realizes father time is coming after him and his NFL career will not last forever. So although he made fun of Manning for his age, he knows he’s not far behind.

A few weeks ago, another veteran athlete LeBron James defied critics when he led the L.A. Lakers to an NBA Championship. James, 35, is still playing at an elite level for his age and the Bucs QB did not let the feat go unnoticed. Albeit with an amusing twist.

Brady took to Twitter to congratulate James on his fourth NBA title with three different teams. The 6-time Super Bowl champion shared an edited photo of his body in a Bucs football uniform holding up four fingers with James head in place of his.

“Congrats to my brother @KingJames on winning his 4th championship. Not bad for a washed up old guy!” he joked in the post’s caption.
