Former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested on Feb. 15 early in the morning.

According to WCPO, the Bengals player was arrested after he punched and kicked a person in the head until they were unconscious. He was sent to Hamilton County Justice Center and is facing misdemeanor assault charges.

Pacman Jones Bar Incident

The incident occurred in a bar in Cincinnati. Apparently, the brawl started when someone in Jones’ crew left the bar for a second and tried to get back inside, but the security staff would not allow it.

“Pacman knocked the security guy out then proceeded to kick the guy in the head multiple times. That’s when a lot of the staff stepped in and my video starts,” a source told TMZ.

After that, someone began filming the video from inside the bar. The bar is in absolute chaos. Other people in the bar are screaming desperately for them to stop. Meanwhile, people are picking up chairs and throwing them, and there’s a huge fight happening in the very center of the bar.

The situation escalated with more than just Jones fighting. He went onto “The Pat McAfee Show” where he said that he saw his brother being attacked and that’s when he jumped in to help.

Jones is hoping that more of the surveillance video from that video will back up his story. It is different in some ways than what the TMZ witness shared.

Jones claims he was talking to the DJ when something started going on behind him. He said when he turned around his brother and a bouncer were already fighting. He said he’s had issues with the same bouncer in the past.

In that same interview, Jones said he would want to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul.

This is not the first time Adam “Pacman” Jones has been in the headlines due to legal issues.

ESPN created a timeline in 2009 that detail all the incidents that occurred with the player since he was drafted with the Tennessee Titans in April 2005.

In July 2005, Jones was charged with assault and felony vandalism due to an incident in a nightclub. Then, in February 2006, he was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. He also received obstruction and two misdemeanors of obstructing police after he tried to punch a cop during that situation.

Throughout 2006 and 2007, most of the charges against Jones had to do with things like public intoxication, misdemeanor assaults, and disorderly conduct.

One of his biggest incidents occurred in February 2007 inside of Minxx Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas. He was involved in a fight inside when an unknown gunman shot three people by the front entrance. Jones was charged with conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct for his role in the fight. He had reduced charges and agreed to assist police in their investigation of the shooting.

Jones has also been seen with Edward “Slugga” Morris III, who is an accused murderer and gang member. He had a number of suspensions with the NFL due to his behavior. Eventually, the Dallas Cowboys cut him in January 2009.

He has had a long history of violence and arrests during and after his career in the NFL. It is unclear what will happen after this most recent incident.
