Golfer turned Instagram guru Paige Spiranac is celebrating NFL’s annual draft day. On Thursday, the 28-yer-old posted a snap, revealing which team she’s interested in watching.

“NFL Draft day! Both my parents are from Pittsburgh so I’ve been a Steelers fan since the day I was born,” she began in the accompanying caption. “I also love the Bills. It’s a complicated relationship… Who’s your team? Who are you hoping they draft?”

Details Behind the Draft

For this year’s NFL draft, most of the event will be virtual due to the ongoing pandemic. However, some fans will be allowed to attend the in-person draft at various locations across Cleveland, Ohio, including FirstEnergy Stadium and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The draft expects to see up to 50,000 fans a day. However, those hoping to get within 100 yards of the stage will have to prove that they’ve been vaccinated.

“We have every confidence in our protocols that are in place,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President of Club Business & League Events. He added, “We learned so much from what we did at the Super Bowl, where we were able to do a free, outdoor Super Bowl Experience. . . . We have very clear data working with our partners to show that our events did not cause any spread during the season, and we have that confidence here. Those protocols are very real and very enforced. So critical is the mask-wearing, and that will be heavily enforced throughout the draft.”

As for Spiranac’s favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers have eight overall picks:

  • Round 1, selection 24
  • Round 2, selection 55
  • Round 3, selection 87
  • Round 4, selection 128
  • Round 4, selection 140 (compensatory pick)
  • Round 6, selection 216 (from Buccaneers, acquired in Jerald Hawkins deal)
  • Round 7, selection 245 (from Dolphins, acquired in Minkah Fitzpatrick deal)
  • Round 8, selection 254 (from Ravens, acquired in Chris Wormley deal)
