Patrick Mahomes Fiancé Brittany Matthews Reveals Look at Baby Bump on ‘Victory Monday’

by Quentin Blount

Fitness trainer Brittany Matthews recently posted another adorable photo of her and her baby bump on what she calls “Victory Monday.”

The 24-year-old fitness expert took to social media yet again on Monday morning to share another pregnancy photo with her 804,000 fans and followers. Of course, she just so happens to be the fiancee of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes’ soon-to-be wife has a bachelor’s in kinesiology and she is normally posting photos in her workout clothes along with sharing exercise tips.

Matthews has without a doubt been enjoying her time as a pregnant mom. She has shown off her baby bump in multiple Instagram photos over the last few weeks. And she had fun doing that yet again on Monday afternoon. Matthews took photos posing in a black long sleeve shirt and brown and black sweat pants, captioning it “Victory Monday.”

The health trainer, 24, and the Super Bowl MVP, 25, announced their pregnancy back in September of 2020 with an adorable Instagram post. It was sweet and simple: a photo of Mahomes hugging Matthews from behind as she holds up a sonogram printout to her stomach.

Matthews captioned the post, “Mom & Dad, taking a small detour to their wedding.” The high school sweethearts had just got engaged just a month earlier.

Brittany Matthews Shows Off Baby Bump in Luxury Box

Brittany Matthews snapped some photos of herself getting ready to cheer on her husband before the start of the AFC championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.

Patrick Mahomes’s fiancé was there for it all. She watched the game with her family and Mahomes’s family. Before the game, however, is when she was able to get some pictures of herself in the box seats. Along with photos highlighting her baby bump, she wrote, “Let’s do this.” She even had “Mahomes” embroidered on her jacket.

Throughout the week, the Chiefs quarterback status was up in the air about whether or not he could play in Sunday night’s game. Mahomes had to leave last week’s divisional-round game after sustaining a concussion. He wasn’t cleared from the NFL’s protocol until Friday. In addition, the star quarterback was also dealing with a turf toe injury. However, Mahomes played through it all Sunday night. He went 29-of-38 passing for 325 yards and three touchdowns.

His Chiefs will now move on to face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
