Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee, Brittany Mattews, are loving life as first-time parents, bringing their first child into the world last months.
As with any new parent, rest and relaxation can be hard to find with a baby in the house. With her future mother-in-law, it looks as if Brittany got a little time to herself recently. Perhaps feeling confident enough to leave their beautiful baby, Sterling Skye, with Patrick Mahomes, Randi Mahomes and Brittany went out for a little “girl’s time.”
Randi, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, took to social media on Saturday to share a photo of the girls’ only weekend of fun. The new grandmother often uses social media to post photos and share inspiring messages of faith with her son’s fans. It appears the lovely ladies may have taken in some spring training activities during their weekend out of this house.
“Girls weekend!” Randi writes in the post’s caption. “Good times with my people! #blessed love these ladies.”
The photo, taken in front of a giant baseball, includes Randi, her daughter Mia and Brittany along with a couple of other gals soaking up the fun. Patrick Mahomes was a successful baseball player before turning to football full time.
Randi’s post took more than 1,300 “likes” along with a number of comments wishing the ladies and safe and fun journey.
Patrick Mahomes Enjoying Offseason as First-Time Father
While he is undoubtedly enjoying his first offseason as a father, Patrick Mahomes will soon begin training. We last saw Mahomes walking off the Super Bowl field having been defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates will not be short on motivation as they prepare for another run at an NFL championship.
Patrick Mahomes made news earlier this week when he agreed to a contract restructuring in order to free up some salary cap space for his team. According to ESPN, the Chiefs will convert Patrick Mahomes’ $21.7 million roster bonus for this season into a signing bonus. The move will allow the Kansas City Chiefs to spread the salary cap hit over several years and will yield $17 million in immediate cap relief. Last offseason, Patrick Mahomes signed a 10-year contract extension with the team that makes him the highest-paid player in the league.
