Patrick Mahomes’ Mom Randi Rocks Sunglasses in New ‘Sisters’ Selfie

Randi Mahomes, mother of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is living the good life.

Her lovely family got even bigger recently with the arrival of Sterling Skye. Now a few weeks old, she is the firstborn to Patrick Mahomes and his fiancée Brittany Matthews. The happy couple welcomed their daughter into the world on Saturday, Feb. 20. It is safe to say that the entire Mahomes family is thrilled to have a new addition. Patrick and Brittany have each taken to social media to express their joy and excitement over being first-time parents.

The same is true for the new grandmother as Randi often uses social media to share uplifting messages and family moments. On Tuesday, Randi took to social media to share a photo of some recent fun in the sun as she takes time to relax. Rocking the aviator style sunglasses, grandmother Mahomes is all smiles as she enjoys time with friends and family.

“Sisters!” she says in the Instagram post. The post took in more than 1,800 “likes” and dozens of comments. While she doesn’t reveal her location, it is safe to say she is out for some fun on the town.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews Soaking Up Parenthood

Though he isn’t in the photo, Patrick Mahomes is enjoying his first offseason as a proud father. Both he and Brittany have used social media to tell fans how their lives have changed since bringing a child into the world.

Patrick will resume the daily grind of being a National Football League superstar soon and he should have plenty of motivation.

The last time the world saw Patrick Mahomes, he was walking out of the Super Bowl in defeat. The star quarterback and his Kansas City Chiefs team were beaten by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9. Mahomes did not play well in the championship game, throwing two interceptions as the typically potent Chiefs offense sputtered.

Despite the season-ending on a sour note, Mahomes put an MVP-quality season together for the Chiefs in 2020. Now the new father will work toward the 2021 NFL season and a Super Bowl run.
