Patrick Mahomes Posts Breathtaking Photo with Daughter Sterling Skye Month After Birth

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to social media early on Saturday evening to post an adorable photo of him and his daughter Sterling.

It was the first time that the star QB has posted a photo of him and his daughter online. While Mahomes’ fiancee, Brittany Matthews, often posts photos with the couple’s newborn daughter, Saturday was the first time we see an image of the Super Bowl LIV MVP with Sterling.

Mahomes took to his official Twitter account with nearly two million followers to post the photo.

“1 month ❤️” Mahomes wrote on Twitter.

And now that Sterling Skye Mahomes is officially one month old, it is time to celebrate in Kansas City. Brittany Matthews also shared a few pictures on her Instagram story of a birthday day cake to celebrate Sterling’s first month of life. They were evidently attending Kansas City Royals spring training and the baseball team gifted little Sterling a cake.

Matthews posted a snap from the stands saying, “Sterling says thank you 💙 @KCRoyals”

Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Matthews’ Daughter Already Has College Offer

Despite just turning one month old, Sterling Skye Mahomes already has her first letter of intent to a Division I university. In fact, just two days after being born, the alma mater of Sterling’s dad, Texas Tech University, sent her a letter of intent for a soccer scholarship.

Although the daughter of Patrick Mahomes likely won’t attend college until sometime in 2039, Texas Tech wants to stay ahead of the curve. Probably not a bad move, knowing the athletic gene’s that Sterling possess. Her father, of course, is considered one of the best young talents in the NFL. He also helped bring the Kansas City Chiefs their first Super Bowl victory in 50 years.

But the family history of athletic talent doesn’t stop with Patrick Mahomes. Brittany Matthews is somewhat of a fitness expert herself. In addition, she played soccer in college and also played professionally for a time in Iceland. Oh, and did we mention that Patrick Mahomes’ dad was a successful pitcher in Major League Baseball?

Matthews posted a photo of the letter to her Instagram account. Also included in the photo is a blanket and jersey from Texas Tech, alongside the caption, “She’s ready.”

“This is to certify that Sterling Skye Mahomes will be recommended by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Texas Tech University to receive a soccer scholarship. Congratulations!” the letter reads.

If we had to guess, this probably won’t be the first offer little Sterling gets.
