The big day for Instagram model Paulina Gretzky looks like it will be coming sooner rather than later. The 32-year-old took to social media on Tuesday evening to post a photo of her in an all-white dress while she counts down the days until her wedding with golf star Dustin Johnson.

And it’s safe to say that we know exactly where Gretzky will be getting her dress from. She even tags American fashion designer Vera Wang in her post.

“Let the countdown begin @verawang” Gretzky captioned her latest photo.

Meanwhile, Vera Wang made sure to comment back on Gretsky’s post for good measure. After all, have to make sure a high-profile customer like Paulina Gretzky is happy!

“Bridal babe alert @paulinagretzky WHOA,” Vera Wang commented.

Other fans did much of the same, leaving messages hyping up the soon-to-be bride. One of them left a message saying, “Cannot wait to see you as a gorgeous bride.”

Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson ‘Did Things Their Own Way’

For those who don’t know the history between Paulina Gretsky and Dustin Johnson, let’s start back at the very beginning.

Gretzky and Johnson first began dating back in 2013. And as a matter of fact, it didn’t take very long for the two to become engaged. Nowadays, the happy couple shares two sons in Tatum and River Jones Johnson. With that said, however, the high-profile couple has never been in a rush to get married.

However, the eldest of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky’s four children revealed back in May on the Pillows and Beer podcast that they had finally picked out a wedding venue. That was a sign that the ball was really rolling. She also explained why she and arguably the world’s best golfer took so long to tie the knot.

“Just did things my own way,” Gretzky said. “I just didn’t want to listen to how everyone else viewed things. I fell in love with someone so fast. We just had the best thing that’s ever happened to us happen so quickly.”

Love may be blinding, indeed, but even Paulina Gretzky knows that certain things in life come first. And for her and Dustin, the last eight years they have been together they have been focusing on their careers and their kids.

“The most important thing was my kids and Dustin and his career and those things took precedence,” she continued. “Those things needed to be established and after he won The Masters, I thought, ‘Let’s do it. Let’s get married because now is the time, this makes sense.”

It definitely makes sense as to why Gretsky and Johnson waited until this year to get married.
