Paulina Gretzky is like every woman, young or old. She loves to wear a pretty party outfit.
Gretzky wanted to sparkle with her rainbow mini dress at her birthday party Saturday night. She posed for the photo at dusk, with the ocean in the background.
Check out her Instagram post. She wrote “thank you for making my vision a reality Fannie Schiavoni.”
Schiavoni’s web site shows a variety of mini dresses similar to the one worn by Gretzky. They retail for about $1,000. The designer’s website says the scales are “constructed by hand using an ancient Japanese chainmail technique.”
Paulina Gretzky Was Celebrating In Bahamas
Gretzky, with her friends and family, celebrated her 32nd birthday Saturday night at an unidentified hotel in the Bahamas. She posted about the party, too. Using mostly caps, she captioned the video “I’M SO GRATEFUL FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW SPECIAL YOU MADE ME FEEL AHD ILL NEVER FORGET IT. and especially u Dustin Johnson.”
Her friends surprised her with a parade of sparklers as they carried Dom Perignon bottles. That’s a high-dollar parade. Bottles of Dom go for a minimum of $150.
Gretzky thanked long-time fiancé, Dustin Johnson. He’s the star golfer who won The Masters last month in Augusta, Ga. The two have been celebrating since Johnson won the most prestigious golf championship in the United States. Because of Covid-19 pandemic, organizers pushed the Masters tournament from April to November, which extended the golf season by weeks.
After the Masters, the couple traveled to St. Barth’s. Then came the birthday trip to the Bahamas.
Johnson and Gretzky met in 2013. Weeks later, Johnson proposed. They have two children together.
She’s a part-time actress and model as well as an aspiring singer/songwriter. Gretzky is used to the limelight. She’s lived in it her entire life. Her father is Wayne Gretzky, possibly the greatest hockey player ever. Her mother is actress Janet Jones.
Birthday Party Drew Criticism On Social Media
Gretzky’s birthday party drew some backlash on social media. Some comments called her tone-deaf. Others questioned whether she and her friends followed Covid-19 mask and social distancing requirements.
But it’s likely party goers already had passed some Covid requirements to travel to the Bahamas. Travelers to the island must show they’ve had a negative Covid test within five days of arrival. That’s required with a passport.
Once there, people must wear masks in public places, although masks aren’t required on beaches. There also are curfews.
However, it’s unclear if these rules cover private parties at hotels.
