With only three weeks to go until the arrival of her baby, Ronda Rousey is busy preparing her home to welcome the new addition to the Rousey-Browne family. Of course, a part of that preparation is attending her own baby shower with all of her close friends.

Earlier today, the expecting mother posted her favorite snapshot of the night with fellow fighter, Marina Shafir. The two struck the classic prom pose with Shafir wrapping her arms around Rousey’s round belly. Ronda Rousey gave a dreamy look as she leaned into her dance partner with a ribbon from a present tied around her waist. Clearly, the two fierce women had a close relationship.

“Best present at the baby shower was @marinashafir giving me the prom pic I never had! thank you everyone who made it a special day/forced me to do it when I didn’t want to,” Ronda Rousey wrote in the caption of the photo.

Likely, at 37 weeks pregnant, all the former wrestler wants to do is just relax with her feet up. At this stage in the game, socializing sounds like a lot of back pain and bloating. Luckily, though, it seems Rousey’s friends were able to rally around her and remind the mother of all the joys to come.

Ronda Rousey Shares Exciting Moment During Pregnancy

While the moment Ronda Rousey’s baby arrives will no doubt be magical and life-changing, the soon-to-be mother does admit she has some concerns about the birth. In July, Rousey shared a romantic clip of herself with husband Travis Browne. As she wrapped herself around his neck, she planted a kiss on her sweetheart’s cheek. In the caption, she wrote an honest description of her journey through pregnancy and worries about the birthing process.

“I wish I could say that pregnancy feels amazing, that I’ve never felt more powerful as a woman. But it feels more like my organs are being crushed by the miracle of life,” Ronda Rousey told Instagram followers. “Honestly the looming task of giving birth is intimidating as hell. I almost died when I was born – Is baby gunna be okay?”

She gave thanks to the strong man beside her for keeping her grounded and calming her fears before their baby arrives.

“Thank God for Mr. Browne. Not a day goes by without him telling me I’m beautiful, sexy, loved, and appreciated. He holds my belly to give me breaks from carrying, gives me bites of everything he’s eating, then drags me hissing into the sunlight when I wanna go full Gollum,” Ronda Rousey wrote.
