San Francisco 49ers Beat LA Rams with Last-Second Field Goal, Fans Go Insane

If you heard a loud roar from the West Coast, then it probably was from a whole lot of San Francisco 49ers fans watching their team play on Sunday.

San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould is good as gold for his team, nailing a 42-yarder with time running out to beat the Los Angeles Rams 23-20.

Meanwhile, Gould kicked a 44-yard field goal earlier in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 20-20 in Los Angeles.

Also, here’s a view of the game-winning kick for the 49ers.

Obviously, 49ers fans were ecstatic to see their team pull out an NFC West Division victory on the road.

They didn’t hold back on their happiness.

49ers Must Deal With Home Stadium Issues

Meanwhile, the victory celebration can continue but the team faces a serious problem.

Santa Clara County, home to Levi’s Stadium which is where the 49ers play their home games, has issued new COVID-19 regulations.

According to a story on CBSSports.com, the 49ers “now need to search for a new home venue.”

The new regulations include the temporary ban on all high school, collegiate, and professional sports.

“This mandate will go into effect over the next three weeks, which falls under two home games for the 49ers — Dec. 7 (vs. Buffalo) and Dec. 13 (vs. Washington),” according to the story.

“Of course, this also impacts where the Niners can practice on top of where their games will be played. This comes in the aftermath of California experiencing its worst surge of COVID-19 yet.”

Also, the article states that “Under Santa Clara County’s new restrictions, a 14-day quarantine is required for all those traveling to and from the country from more than 150 miles away, which Buffalo and Washington certainly fall under.”

Furthermore, the 49ers said in a statement on Saturday that they are working on the issues.

“We are aware of the Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s emergency directive,” “We are working with the NFL and our partners on operational plans and will share details as they are confirmed.”
