In his weekly media session, Rob Gronkowski talks about his relationship with Brady and how it has blossomed over the years. The All-Pro tight end and Super Bowl champion recalls one of his favorite off the field Brady moments. Gronk, as he is known throughout the league, says the classic moment came as the two players were attending the Kentucky Derby.
“I asked Ron Gronkowski about his favorite off-field memory with Tom Brady,” ESPN reporter Jenna Laine tweets.
In typical Gronk fashion, the Pro Bowler tells a story that involves a party and an adult beverage.
“I would say going to the Kentucky Derby and seeing him take a shot,” he says. “Just seeing his face after, like disgust, like, ‘I’m putting this alcohol in my body. How am I going to throw next week?'”
The tight end says he believe it was “Fireball” that Brady ingested to bring about a look of shame.
