Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is going off against the New England Patriots defense. Watson has already scored three touchdowns in the first half.

The dynamic, dual-threat quarterback is playing at the top of his game on Sunday. Watson is 18 of 23 passing and has a combined 271 total yards and three touchdowns in the first half.

One of those touchdowns was a four-yard rushing score in which Watson lowered his shoulder and trucked his way into the end zone.

“@deshaunwatson lowers the shoulder and will NOT be denied,” the official NFL Twitter account wrote. “The @HoustonTexans take a 14-10 lead! #WeAreTexans

NFL Fans Sound Off After Deshaun Watson Touchdown

Football fans sounded off on social media after Watson’s impressive touchdown. Many of them took to Twitter to cheer on the quarterback.

With so much offensive production early in the game, Watson’s fantasy owners are happy without a doubt.

“That’s my fantasy QB!!” one fan writes.

Watson’s run was so physical and impressive that one fan may have even mistaken him for former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.

“Beast mode.” he wrote.

One user, presumably a Detroit Lions fan, said that the Texans should trade the Lions Watson.

“The Texans don’t deserve Watson send him to the lions,” they said.

In light of Watson’s terrific first-half play, other fans took a moment to criticize the Texans organization for what could have been.

One fan wrote, “Some day this team will give him some help.” The team recently traded their superstar wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, to the Arizona Cardinals during the offseason.

Another Twitter user shared a similar sentiment. He says, “What a travesty Bill O’Brien has done to Deshaun and the Texans.”
