Tom Brady Silences Critics with Hilarious Instagram Post

On Monday afternoon (12/13), Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady hilariously trolled his critics with a video montage of him running the football in yesterday’s game to prove he can still scramble when needed.

Recently, EA Sports enlisted Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning to market their Madden NFL 22 video game. In a comedic bit, Manning amusingly announces himself as EA Sports’ newest ratings adjuster. Of course, his first order of business involved his longtime NFL rival, Tom Brady.

“I did especially think that Brady’s accuracy rating was just a bit high. That will probably be one of the first things that I address. Of course, I plan on being completely unbiased with my ratings,” Manning said in the announcement video while winking at the camera.

Manning went on to jokingly drop Brady’s overall Madden rating from a whopping 98 to a paltry 44. The video and rating decrease was all in the name of fun, and Brady joined in on the bit earlier today with his own rating update.

During yesterday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, Tom Brady and the Bucs won in overtime 33-27. However, Brady made sure to point out commentator Tony Romo‘s discouraging words during the broadcast. Romo called Brady “slow” and said he couldn’t “make someone miss” tackling him.

“So is [Tony Romo] not watching, because…” Brady says in his video before it cuts to a pair of highlights from the game. Brady is seen running for two first downs and even jukes past a defender in the second one. After, he asks EA Sports to tell Manning to increase his speed rating from its current 71 rating to a 93.

Well played, Tom Brady. Well played indeed.

Tom Brady Thinks He Can Play Football Until He’s 50 Years Old

Tom Brady seems to be defying Father Time one season at a time. For years now, fans and football analysts have speculated about his retirement. While peers such as Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and more have hung up their cleats, Brady is still playing at an unbelievable level and still winning Super Bowls.

For many, the 44-year-old QB is the greatest ever to step foot on the gridiron. Yet age will eventually catch up to Brady whether he likes it or not. Back in 2017, he told ESPN that he’d play at least until age 45. At the same time, he also said that if he stays healthy, he might be able to play into his late 40s.

Earlier this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers official YouTube channel shared a clip called “Tommy and Gronky.” Brady spoke about retirement once again in the video when a fan asked if he might play until he turned 50. The legendary quarterback said it’s a real possibility.

“Wow, seems to be a really hot question lately. Can Tom Brady play ’til 50? Like, 50 years old? Fifty. I don’t find it so difficult. Plus, in Florida, it’s kind of a retiree state, so I feel like I can play and then just glide into retirement. I think I can. I think it’s a yes,” Brady explained.
