Tom Brady Upgrading To $6 Million, 77-Foot Yacht

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is cruising around in style with a new $6 million 77-foot yacht.

The 7-time Super Bowl Champion was seen over video at Dutch boat-builder Wajer’s announcement of its latest luxury yacht in the Netherlands last week. Brady noted that he was not only interested in buying a ship but will be one of the first to have the 77-foot offshore yacht.

Captain Tom Brady?

Since moving from New England to Tampa Bay, Tom Brady has made it clear that he isn’t going back to the cold anytime soon. Since the Sunshine State has welcomed him, Brady has been trying out yacht after yacht to find the boat that suits him. Apparently, that is the $6 million, Wajer 77 as of this year.

“I enjoyed the waters of New England, but when we moved to Tampa, with its beautiful bay, I said to myself, ‘I need a boat,’” Brady revealed. “I love what Dries Wajer is doing. When we first started working together, I was able to try out a Wajer 38, then I got my Wajer 55S, and now I’m looking forward to continuing my ‘captainship’ on a Wajer 77…which Dries tells me I’ll get before the end of the year.”

Furthermore, you have probably seen Wajer’s work in the past. Tom Brady famously captained his previous yacht, the $2 million Wajer 55S, during the water-parade Super Bowl celebration in Tampa after the team’s victory in February.

You could say Brady had a good day onboard the vessel.

According to Forbes, Wajer Managing Director Dries Wajer is not having trouble finding people to buy the massive yacht. The watercraft is being called “The World is Not Enough” because it is suited for ocean-going adventures.

Typical vessels are equipped to stay close to shore for day activities.

“We’ve spent years developing the Wajer 77 with leaders like Sinot Yacht Architecture and Van Oossanen Naval Architects,” Brady said. “But we are moving quickly on this project because, frankly, we were able to sell the concept very early on. We’ve already sold more than 15.”

Amenities On the Wajer 77

Tom Brady’s Wajer 55 is nothing compared to his new and improved 77 model. It has a “significantly” longer flagship that also rises higher from the waterline.

As for the technical side, the yacht has an auto-calibrating anchor drop which calculates the length of chain needed. Furthermore, the boat has a hybrid fender system that can quickly inflate/deflate bumpers for easier stowage, a water-cooled under-deck temperature system, and an automatic wheelhouse roof that can expand, contract, and front-elevate to allow more airflow into the cockpit.

This boat has it all.

Tom Brady can relax and unwind in this massive floating house. It features a 16-foot master suite, a junior suite with a double bed, and a guest cabin with a queen-size and single bed. All the rooms have their own bathrooms.

Basically, Tom Brady has enough room for his whole family and half the Buccaneers team.

“I have kids, and we all love being on the water. We spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve aboard our Wajer. Everyone loves it,” Brady continued. “The 55S is an amazing boat, and it’s been amazing for our family. I think the 77 will be a little bit more suited to what we need it for down here, which is a few more day trips and weekend trips. We spend a lot of time in the Bahamas. I want to give my family some great weekend trip memories.”
