Postmates recently gave NFL fans a glimpse into the favorite local order of Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce.

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are on their way to the Super Bowl once again. Kansas City was able to take down the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game 38-24. They did so in large part thanks to the efforts of their Pro Bowl tight end. Travis Kelce had game-highs in multiple stat categories including 13 catches, 118 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Kelce has without question been a beast when he’s on the field. He had another spectacular season, putting together career-highs in catches (105), yards (1,416), and touchdowns (11).

Being that his food is what fuels him, it was interesting to see what Travis Kelce’s favorite order is when he decides to order out. Thankfully, Postmates shared that insight with us on Twitter yesterday.

“The #NFLPlayoffs are on and @tkelce is about to hit the field,” Postmates wrote on Twitter. “So we asked him about his dream gameday order and he LOVES to order local.”

It turns out that the Travis Kelce go to order is one of the most Kansas City things we’ve ever seen. But no one is really that surprised.

Travis Kelce’s go-to spot is evidently Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que. And his go-to order? Well, get ready, because it’s a mouthful. His favorite foods from Joe’s are a full slab of ribs, burnt ends, brisket sandwiches, pulled chicken sandwiches, Kansas caviar, BBQ beans, dirty rice, spicy slaw, and French fries.

Travis Kelce Loves Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que

Many Kansas City natives grew up with Gates and Bryant’s as the local BBQ mainstays. They’re like the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s of Kansas City BBQ. However, Joe’s popped up a few years back attached to a gas station as Oklahoma Joe’s. As it became more popular, they eventually changed their name to reflect the city that fell in love with them.

“I was hesitant to check out Joe’s, but I’ve been there a few times now,” Kelce said back in 2019. “I’m glad I opened my heart (and stomach) to Joe’s.”

If you’re looking for the best BBQ sandwich in Kansas City, it seems like Joe’s is the place to go. The Z-Man is a sandwich that features sliced smoked brisket, provolone cheese, onion rings piled on top, and their tangy barbecue sauce, all on a kaiser roll.

Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que is an award-winning, gas-station style barbecue restaurant. Kelce’s favorite restaurant is also incredibly well known by now. They have been recognized by local, regional, and national media for the quality and consistency of their food. They’ve been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Kansas City Star, and many other media outlets.

They’ve even been highlighted on the Food Network on popular shows such as No Reservations, All You Can Eat, and Man vs. Food.
