UFC Icon Conor McGregor Denies Wrongdoing After 2 Women File Lawsuits Against Him

Following some alleged incidents dating back to 2018, two women are suing UFC star, Conor McGregor. The world-class fighter denies all allegations of any wrongdoing on his part. The two women filed the suits on Monday in Dublin, McGregor’s hometown. The two women– a mother and her daughter– both filed personal injury lawsuits. The daughter apparently filed a “multi-million euro personal injury lawsuit.”

Despite these allegations, none of the evidence adds up. In fact, one of Conor McGregor’s reps told TMZ Sports that law enforcement officials have already reviewed the evidence and thrown out the case. Details of the case have not yet been revealed due to legal reasons, but it seems that the case is already buttoned up.

“After an exhaustive investigation conducted by the Garda,” Karen J. Kessler said in a statement. “Which, in addition to interviews of the plaintiff, included: interviewing numerous sources, obtaining witnesses’ statements, examining closed-circuit footage and the cooperation of Conor McGregor, these allegations were categorically rejected.”

“The plaintiff knows the facts contradict the assertions in this lawsuit,” Kessler added. “Conor McGregor will dispute any claims and is confident that justice will prevail.”

Conor McGregor Set to Fight in 2021

This weekend, Conor McGregor will fight the UFC Lightweight contender, Dustin Poirier. The fight will occur on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi at UFC 257. This will be McGregor’s first fight in over a year. He won his last fight against Donald Cerrone by TKO last January. Poirier also won his last bout by decision against Dan Hooker last June. McGregor enters the fight at 22-4-0, while Poirier enters at 26-6-0.

“This is one of the biggest fights you can have in combat sports,” Poirier said. “A guy like Conor McGregor is one of the biggest names possible that you can be standing across from.”

Conor McGregor is one of the biggest names in fighting, however, Poirier believes he will win. Whether by knockout, submission, or decision, Poirier feels that he is “going to be victorious.”
