UFC President Dana White Dares Streamers to Pirate UFC 257: ‘See What Happens’

UFC President Dana White definitely has a take-no-prisoners attitude when it comes to people illegally streaming his pay-per-view cards.

White has made it quite clear that he’s not going to tolerate anyone trying to hack their way into watching a UFC PPV card.

At a press conference on Thursday leading up to Saturday’s UFC 257 card, White is asked about criticism he’s receiving from streamers after he took them down to the mat.

“No, I’m glad you asked me about that because we got one,” Dana White said. “We got him. We’re watching this guy right now. All you have to do is turn it on Saturday and we got you f****r. I can’t wait. Turn it on Saturday, streamers, and see what happens.”

Dana White Already Has Plan Set Up To Catch Streamers

White has said that UFC has already established a way to crack down on illegal streamers for their cards. UFC is one of the last sports companies, along with WWE, that still uses a pay-per-view method for its cards.

“I love how cool and tough these guys act on social media because – let me tell you what, we’ve caught a lot of people,” White said. “Let me tell you what they do: They cry.”

The brand’s first 2021 pay-per-view features Conor McGregor and his return to the Octagon and the lightweight division to fight Dustin Poirier.

It’s the first time McGregor has fought since October 2018. This is a rematch from six years ago. Poirier lost to McGregor in the first round of a featherweight bout.

Jake Paul Calls Out McGregor, White After Fight Offer

Meanwhile, YouTube sensation Jake Paul in December took his desire to have a boxing match with McGregor up a notch.

Paul went so far as to post a crazy video of him going in on the UFC superstar and Dana White.

He superstar says that his team has made a $50 million dollar offer to bring the fight to fruition.

“My team sent you a $50 million dollar offer this morning — 50 million dollars cash, proof of funds, the biggest fight offer you’ve ever been offered,” Paul says.

“But, you’re scared to fight me, Conor!” Paul continues. “You’re ducking me because you don’t wanna lose to a f**king YouTuber. You’re 0-1 as a boxer. I’m 2-0 as a boxer.”
