There are some wild and crazy fan bases in the NFL, but some top many others. One of the best fan bases has to be the Buffalo Bills Mafia. Perhaps it’s the fact they lost four straight Super Bowls or the weather in upstate New York. Whatever it is, these fans are diehard through and through.
The most recent display of Bills super fandom happened at a wedding. Bills Mafia is always down to break a table or two. Over the years, it has become a tradition at tailgates. When Bills fans put those jerseys on they turn into WWE superstars. So, when your friend gets married and everyone there, including the bride, is wearing a jersey…you let the DJ give you a Rock Bottom through a table.
This looks like an absolute banger of a wedding. Everyone is wearing Buffalo Bills blue and red, everyone is hyped for the moment. Even in the preseason, Bills fans will not be stopped. The entire crowd was singing “Let’s go Buffalo!” beforehand. One of the groomsmen, or perhaps the groom, gave a quick camera check. Then, Dave went through the table.
Most people worry about being too hungover after a wedding. That doesn’t seem to be an issue here, let’s be honest. Dave was likely a few drinks deep before lining up for the slam. After this wedding, a hangover was the least of his problems. Get a friend that will take a Rock Bottom through a table for you at your wedding. We all deserve at least one.
Buffalo Bills High Expectations for 2021
While the Buffalo Bills went through a rough time in the 2000s and 2010s, that isn’t the case anymore. Last season Josh Allen fully came into his own and helped lead the Bills to a 13-3 season. With that result, Buffalo finished first in the AFC East. Then, they went through the Colts in the Wild Card playoffs.
After that first round, the Bills took on Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. That game ended in a 17-3 win for Buffalo before they headed to the AFC Championship. Of course, the Kansas City Chiefs took the conference championship and went on to the Super Bowl. Many fans are hoping that Buffalo will be able to recreate that success and then some. A trip to the Super Bowl would leave no folding table safe. When the season was all said and done, the Bills had five Pro Bowlers and All-Pro selections.
Josh Allen threw for over 300 yards for the first time in his career last season. That happened in Week 1 against the New York Jets. Allen proved himself to be the bright, young QB that Bills Mafia hoped he would be. Franchise quarterbacks are hard to come by. Many thought that Allen wouldn’t live up to the hype, but he has developed and come into his own. Now, the Buffalo Bills have a real shot at taking control of the AFC East again.
