Legendary National Football league quarterback Brett Favre is showing the world he’s still got it.
While the 51-years-old Packers great still has a cannon of an arm, he’s not necessarily making an NFL comeback. He is, however, keeping his body in shape and his arm loose as he shows in a recent video.
Brett Favre took to social media on Wednesday to prove he can still hum a football like he used to. Using an unusual target, he zips a pass from several yards away that finds its mark perfectly.
“Back in Training,” he says in the tweet with a muscle arm emoji.

Showcasing the perfect form and passing accuracy that made him one of the all time greats, Favre throws the ball through a hanging tire. It is reminiscent of his time roaming Lambeau Field and throwing to the likes of Antonio Freeman and Mark Chmura. It is almost as if he never left the field at all.
Brett Favre doesn’t give the location of the throwing session but it appears he is surrounded by cameras filming his every move. Adding to the difficulty of the pass is that appears the sun is setting low and there is a good amount of fog in the area.
After throwing the ball straight through the tire swing, an off-camera voice asks Favre if it went through.
“Well, what did you expect,” Favre says with a faint laugh. “Camera was rolling, right?”
Football fans flooded the post’s comment section and it took in more than 1,000 “Likes” within an hour of appearing on Twitter. Many NFL fans asked if he was pondering a comeback and noted their favorite team is in dire need of a star quarterback.
After one of the most storied NFL careers of all time, Favre was selected to the NFL Hall-of-Fame in 2016.
