A rising star in the National Football League, quarterback Deshaun Watson leads the Houston Texans by example.

The Texans did not have the kind of season they were hoping for this year, finishing with a 4-12 record. They finished third in the AFC South behind the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts. Only the one-win Jacksonville Jaguars finsished with a worse record then the Texans.

Despite his team’s woeful record, Watson continues to show that he is one of the league’s top talents at only 25-years-old. The quarterback flourished in the 2020 season, finishing with an MVP-caliber season.

On the year he threw for 4,823 yards with a completion percentage slightly above 70 percent. He threw 33 touchdown passes to just seven interceptions and ended the season with a quarterback rating of 112.4, one of the top marks in the league.

Deshaun Watson Leads on and off the Field

While his on-the-field play speaks for itself, Watson is known for a big heart and giving attitude off of the field. The Pro Bowler surprised his agent with a new car. It wasn’t just any car either as a social media post reveals. Along with the tweet is a video that show Watson pulling in with the car and handing it off to the marketing agent.

“Forget the drama, Deshaun Watson is taking care of his people,” the posts caption reads. “Last night, Deshaun surprised his agent @AnswerNYC with a new car. Look familiar? That is the same BMW and garage from the movie “Paid in Full.”

Watson also put out a social media post regarding the car, proclaiming he takes good care of the people that take good care of him. The agent is clearly excited about his new ride and he thanks Watson for the gift.

“Yeah we all eat in my circle!” Watson says. “Da Paid in Full Way!”

“Paid in Full’ is a 2002 film directed by Charles Stone III and starring Wood Harris, Mekhi Phifer and Cam’Ron. The film received mixed reviews but has since developed a cult following over the years.

Watson has been critical of some aspects of the Houston Texans organization that has lead to trade rumors surrounding the quarterback. He says he is ready to put the season behind him and start working toward the 2021 season.
