NASCAR driver Kurt Busch definitely knows how to put together a surprise birthday party — just ask his brother Kyle.

Kyle Busch took home victory at the Buschy McBusch Race 400 on Sunday. With the win, he became the 10th different winner in the first 11 races of the 2021 season. And not only that, he became the second driver in NASCAR history to win a race on his birthday.

As a result, Kyle’s brother, Kurt Busch, threw a huge surprise party for the Buschy McBusch 400 winner.

“It’s Kyle’s birthday today, right everybody?” Kurt Busch poses to his followers on Twitter. “I got him a mariachi band already. They’re tuning up and he has no idea when he rolls into the airport.”

Kurt Busch then posts a second video. He says the idea was to throw Kyle a surprise birthday party a couple of days ahead of Cinco De Mayo. That was before his two-time Cup Series champion younger brother won at Kansas.

“It’s perfect,” Busch says with a laugh. “It was for Cinco De Mayo to kind of kick it off, and he kicked it off with a win. This is gonna be epic.”

The Busch brothers then cheers with an ice-cold beer.

“Happy birthday @KyleBusch!!! And congrats on the win!!!”

It ended up becoming a battle of two Kyles at the Buschy McBusch Race 400 in Kansas. However, there could only be one winner. And that was Kyle Busch, the younger brother of Kurt Busch. Busch spoke on Fox Sports 1 after his first win of the season.

“You talk about ups and downs of racing,” Busch said. “It’s been a lot of downs of life for us.”

Kyle Busch gave a shout out to everyone who has helped him get back into Victory Lane.

“It’s cool to get everybody back in Victory Lane again this early in the season,” he explained. “To be able to get some of those points going our way now.”

Not only did Kyle Busch earn his 58th career on Sunday, the driver of the No. 18 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing also turned 36 years old. His latest win makes it 17 straight years that he has won at least one race. It also tied him with Kevin Harvick for all-time Cup wins.
