The WWE rolled into Brooklyn for its weekly RAW event earlier tonight. Rollins was scheduled to face off against Finn Balor. However, “The Visionary” and Balor ended up brawling following a promo about Rollins’ Survivor Series victory.
The Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion got the best of Balor with two of his patented Curb Stomps. Then, on his way out of the arena, he took some time to gloat while walking up the entrance ramp. That’s when the WWE star got tackled by a random fan in red pants and a black shirt. Referees immediately came to Rollins’ aide by jumping on the fan who grabbed ahold of the wrestler’s long hair in the middle of their tussle.
Another fan in the stands right beside the action captured the entire scuffle and uploaded it to social media. In the footage, you can see five or six WWE refs and employees escorting the man out of the arena. Rollins looked heated following the attack, and could be heard yelling “Come on! Is that all you got?” at the fan.
While Rollins seemed to be alright following the incident, he took quite the hit when first tackled by the fan. Hopefully, the WWE star didn’t sustain any injuries while scrapping with the fan, but no updates have been given by the wrestling organization as of yet.
Ric Flair Shares Updates About Fellow WWE Legend Hulk Hogan
In other recent wrestling news, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s daughter shared updates on her father’s multiple health issues. In addition, fellow wrestling icon Ric Flair also revealed news about his longtime friend’s health just last week.
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair opened up about Hogan on the debut episode of his Woooo Nation podcast. Flair touched on his close relationship to the Hulkster before speaking up about his friend’s health problems. He also mentioned his own health issues from 2017 when doctors put him into a medically-induced coma.
“He’s having some really bad health issues but he keeps up with me. We support each other, good and bad,” Flair said on the podcast. “When I was in the hospital he flew up that day like everybody else that came up to see me…Hulk was gracious, Jimmy Hart was great. I don’t remember seeing them because I was in a coma but they made the effort to go. Those are the kind of things that mean a lot.”
Flair didn’t share further specifics on Hogan’s exact health concerns. But Hogan himself gave his fans a positive update about his struggles this weekend on Instagram.
“Back to my 9th grade weight 275lbs brother HH,” Hulk Hogan wrote on his post.
