Hulk Hogan is truly a one-of-a-kind person. Even though he has been retired from the WWE for many years, he is still growing his legacy.
The monstrous wrestler turns 68 years old on August 11. If you do the math, that is only 73 days away, and it is safe to say that he is looking forward to it.
Not only is he excited about his upcoming birthday, but he is committed to getting stronger before then. So, today, May 30, he took to his social media to share what he is working on. As the WWE Hall of Famer is accustomed to, he appears to be spending the day working out.
Hulk Hogan posted an insane picture of himself to his Twitter account. He said, “At almost 68yrs young, and 297lbs arm workouts are starting to get crazy again brother HH.”
In the picture, the wrestler flexed for the camera in front of a mirror. His biceps are bulging, and sweat is dripping down from his yellow tank top. He also gives his fans a glimpse of his iconic mustache, letting people see the ends of his white handlebars.
All in all, the picture is incredible. It is certainly clear that Hulk Hogan is working on getting stronger if that is even humanly possible. Nonetheless, he probably isn’t someone you want to start a fight with.
Hulk Hogan Was the People’s Champion in Wrestling and Talked About His First WWF Title
Hulk Hogan took a moment to reflect on his first professional wrestling title a while back. Late January was the 37th anniversary of his first championship belt. After he won the belt, Hulkamania was born, and the world never looked back.
On January 23, he shared a picture of his iconic title bout with the Iron Sheik. In the post, he talked about how that win changed the entire course of wrestling. Even though it may seem like an outrageous statement, it is not an exaggeration.
Hulk Hogan stepped in for another fighter, Bob Backlund when the latter went down with an injury. So, that set the stage for the wild championship fight with the Iron Sheik.
The fight would go down in history. The golden-haired phenom overcame the Sheik’s submission hold—the Camel Clutch. Shortly after breaking free of the hold, he served up his patented Atomic Leg Drop. The bandana-wearing madman stopped the match after pinning the Iron Sheik with the three-count.
During the fight, and especially after Hulk won, the crowd went bonkers. He told the crowd, as he was holding the belt, that the win was for them.
He was truly the first wrestler that almost every wrestling fan adored. Hulk Hogan was the original people’s champion.
