Travis Tritt reacted to the recent news that Lil Wayne endorsed Donald Trump in his re-election bid. The country singer shared Lil Wayne’s post and a picture of the rapper smiling with the president.

He commented on the Democrats losing Lil Wayne’s support. Tritt wrote, “When you’ve lost Lil Wayne…”

In recent weeks, Tritt has been critical of Presidential Candidate Joe Biden and the Democratic party. Through separate tweets, Tritt commented on the scandal involving Biden’s son Hunter. In a previous post, the country singer revealed to his followers that he is a Trump supporter.

Lil Wayne Became the Latest Rapper to Endorse Trump

Lil Wayne joins several rappers in endorsing Trump within the past month. Wayne spoke with the president about prison reform for the black community. He seemed to appreciate what Trump had to say and also supported Trump’s Platinum Plan.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” Wayne wrote.

Earlier in the month, Ice Cube announced he worked with the Trump Administration on the Platinum Plan. The plan would provide $500 billion to black communities as well as access to jobs and education. The rapper didn’t specifically endorse Trump as president. He said he tried to meet with both campaigns. But the Biden Campaign promised to address the issue after the election.

Likewise, rapper Lil Pump officially endorsed Trump in the election. He released a social media rant in favor of the president. Lil Pump said supported Trump because he didn’t agree with a proposed 33% tax increase if Biden is elected.

Rapper 50 Cent announced his endorsement for Trump for a similar reason. But he denounced the president after pressure from comedian and ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler. She said she had to remind him “he was a black person.”
