Florida may become a battleground state for more than just the presidential election. It would appear both the Biden and Trump Campaigns are in a social media dance-off in the final leg of the election race. After videos of President Donald Trump dancing went viral, Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris responded with moves of her own.
Harris visited Jacksonville for a campaign rally on Oct. 19. While there, she pulled her best Singin’ in the Rain dance moves. Harris shielded herself from the pouring rain with an umbrella while breaking into dance. The video is set to “Work That” by Mary J. Blige. But it’s unknown if that was the original music Harris danced to.
Kamala Harris’ Dance Comes After a Video of Donald Trump Went Viral
Trump celebrated beating COVID-19 by breaking into dance at a Sanford, Florida rally. It was the first campaign event Trump appeared at since his diagnosis in early October. Trump closed the event with a little dance, swaying to the music of “YMCA” by The Village People.
He swung his fists to the tempo and clapped and pointed to the audience. Later, the video went viral after Trump’s social media strategist Ryann McEnany tweeted it.
Later the president’s son Donald Jr. post another video of him dancing. This video also went viral online, set to “Let Me See Your Hips Swing” by Savage. Since then, Seinfeld actors Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus accused Trump of stealing the moves from Dreyfus’ character Elaine. Dreyfus posted a side by side comparison of the two.
