Bubba Wallace Celebrates 27th Birthday, Says Last Year ‘Was Filled With Good and Bad’

Bubba Wallace celebrated his 27th birthday on Thursday of this week. The NASCAR star took to Twitter to post a photo with his girlfriend Amanda Carter along with a short message.

“Solid day indeed, appreciate all the birthday wishes!” the race car driver writes. “The last 26 was filled with a lot of… good and bad. Excited to start a new chapter! 27 feeling like 67. Back is KILLED already! Much love!”

The snap shows Wallace and Carter in what appears to be a parking structure during a date night out. After sharing the tweet a number of Wallace’s fans and followers chimed in with their reactions.

“Wishing you the happiest of birthdays!” one user writes. “I hope the coming year finds you winning a race or three…and then the championship!”

Another user writes: “Happy Birthday Bubba. It’s been a sh*t year but keeping ur head up is what counts. Thanks 4 standing up 4 the right thing when it wasn’t the most popular thing. Stay strong and safe.”

Bubba Wallace Tweets About the Viral Housefly on Mike Pence’s Head

Earlier this week, Vice President Mike Pence took on Sen. Kamala Harris in the first and only Vice Presidential debate. One of the most talked-about moments from the event involved a fly that landed on Pence’s head for nearly two minutes.

During Wednesday night’s debate, Wallace took to Twitter to join in on the conversation about the viral fly. “Is that the fly of Steve Harvey from Racing Stripes?!??” he tweeted.

Furthermore, Wallace jokingly answered a Twitter poll that he hopes that he would vote for the fly. Twitter user Brett Griffin posted a poll asking: “Who would you rather see on DBC? #Debate202.” The poll options included Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, and Mike Pence.

Wallace responded to the tweet by simply writing, “The fly.”
