Bubba Wallace caught heat this past week after posting Jacob Blake’s name to his Twitter. The racer got plenty of backlash from fans telling him to “focus on driving.” After critiques jumped to reply to his #JacobBlake tweet, the driver has more to say about the social injustice in America today. Wallace is fed up with people telling him to keep “politics out of NASCAR.’
Wallace is referencing the fact that President Donald Trump made an appearance at the Daytona 500 this year. Trump gave opening remarks and even drove a lap around the track. Wallace is “over” being told to keep politics away from the sport when the country’s most important political figure gave an address at one of the largest NASCAR events this year.
