Despite reports that he is struggling with COVID-19 symptoms, President Donald Trump appears to be upbeat and in good spirts.

Trump tweeted a video on Friday before making his way to Walter Reed Medical Center. He also gave a “thumbs up” as he exited the White House on his way to Marine One to be taken to the hospital, according to Daily Mail.

Prior to leaving for the hospital, he shared a video to his Twitter followers.

“I want to thank everyone for the tremendous support,” he says in the video. “I am going to Walter Reed Hospital and think I am doing very well but we are going to make sure things works out. The first lady is doing very well. Thank you very much, I appreciate it and I will never forget it.”

Trump followed the video up with a another positive Twitter message late Friday evening.

“Going well, I think!” he writes. “Thank you to all. LOVE!!!”

The president’s tweet comes after reports that there are concerns about his condition. According to CNN, an unnamed adviser says there is reason for concern as Trump was “having trouble breathing” after the positive diagnosis.

CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta tweeted on Friday that the source said Trump’s condition was serious.

“Trump adviser said there is reason for concern about Trump’s health tonight,” Acosta says. “‘This is serious,'” the source said. The source went on to describe Trump as very tired, very fatigued and having some trouble breathing. White House officials continue to say Trump will be fine.”

Trump on Road to Recovery

While in the hospital, the president is receiving an experimental antibody treatment, according to Daily Mail.

Trump’s doctor says he is undergoing a range of treatments including a polyclonal antibody cocktail produced by Regeneron. This medication is not available to the public. He is also receiving an Ebola drug called Remdesivir which has shown promise as a coronavirus treatment.

He is also taking zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and a daily asprin.
