Donald Trump Golfs Two Days in a Row Amid Election Turmoil

While the world waits to see if he will concede defeat to President-elect Joe Biden, Donald Trump is working on his short game.

Trump could be seen teeing off at a Virginia golf course for the second straight day. Trump’s passion for the sport predates his presidential term and he even has a few courses that bear his name.

This photo, tweeted by Journalist Colin Campbell, shows Trump’s follow through on a drive shot from what appears to be a rough patch.

“Photo from today,” Campbell writes in the caption. “President Trump at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.”

Trump was also on the links Saturday when his election opponent Joe Biden was declared the winner of the presidential seat, according to the New York Post. He was reportedly swinging his clubs when media outlets began calling Pennsylvania for Biden. The Keystone State gave the former Vice President enough electoral votes to claim the nation’s highest seat.

Reporters noted Trump’s look of despair as he returned to the White House on Saturday. Despite having lost the election, the President does not seem ready to throw in the towel. He is alleging widespread voting fraud cost him the White House, despite little evidence fraud occurred.

Trump has been particularly busy on social media since last week’s election day. When he wasn’t reaching for his nine-iron, Trump sent out several tweets regarding the election. He took a shot at the national media Sunday afternoon, calling them “lamestream.”

“Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be?” he says. “We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks.”

On Saturday, he touted the number of popular votes he received despite coming short of Biden’s vote totals.

“71,000,000 Legal Votes,” he tweets. “The most EVER for a sitting President!”
