Donald Trump Jr, with his father’s presidential future in the balance, kept busy on social media Thursday, tweeting his thoughts about Joe Biden while amplifying his buddies like Mike Cernovich.
Trump Jr. used the breaking news siren emoticon to hype Cernovich, the noted proponent of his father.
For context, Biden was on the verge of winning the presidential race against Donald Trump. Races in Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania were too close to call.
The Associated Press projected that Biden had 264 electoral votes to Trump’s 214.
Overall, in the popular vote Biden had 73,132,256 to Trump’s 69,389,439. Ballots still were being counted.
When Obama won the 2008 election against John McCain, he totaled 69,498,516. Until 2020, Obama’s vote total was the most in U.S. history.
So Biden now has the record.
Trump Jr. Got Warning on Earlier Post
At least Trump Jr’s retweet didn’t receive a warning label.
Twitter slapped one on the president’s oldest son earlier in the day. Jr wrote “The best thing for America’s future is for Donald Trump to go to total war over this election to expose all the fraud, cheating, dead/no longer in state voters, that has been going on far too long.”
Jr. also tweeted that “losing fair and square is one thing but in the face of all of this video evidence, lack of transparency, boarding up of windows, fighting to prevent poll watching … for GOPers to not stand up now shows your true colors.”
Meanwhile, Cernovich was using Twitter to prompt Trump fans to gather outside the vote counting center in Phoenix.
Hundreds, chanting “count the vote” gathered there Wednesday night. Some carried weapons, others waved flags. Phoenix is the seat of Maricopa County, where 60 percent of the Arizona population lives.
Network television was showing similar crowds Thursday.
