Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter on Election Day to bash journalists and Joe Biden all in the same breath.
“If the ‘journalists’ who spent four years pushing the fake Russia hoax looked even a little bit into Joe Biden and did some actual journalism the Democrats wouldn’t be fielding the most compromised candidate in the history of the United States Presidency. You’re welcome!” Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter.
The president’s oldest child posted on Twitter: “Please make it stop. … This is Elder abuse.”
The Joe Biden clip was an interview the Democratic nominee had with reporters as he made several stops before the polls closed. Tom Elliott, the person who initially tweeted the clip, paraphrased Biden and left out significant chunks of the interview.
Throughout the afternoon, Trump Jr. tweeted or retweeted dozens of times. His tweets ranged from quoting his brother Eric and Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley to actor/model Antonio Sabato Jr., an avid supporter of Trump’s father.
Donald Trump Jr. Tells Americans to Vote as if Their ‘Freedom Depends on it’
The Philly GOP Twitter account posted that tons of people showed up to the polls to vote for President Trump. But, as impressive of a turnout as it is, the polling lines had a four-hour wait.
“So many people are showing up to vote for @realDonaldTrump in New Hanover, there’s a 4-hour wait at the polls!” Philly GOP tweeted. “Incredible turnout in Montgomery County! @MontcoPaGOP @PAGOP #PAforTrump”
Furthermore, Trump Jr. retweeted the group’s post and pleaded with voters to stay in line. The president’s son added his own message for voters.
“Don’t leave. Stay in line like your freedom depends on it… because it does,” he wrote.
